Hi, I’m Layne Baumgardner.
I’m a Wayfinder Life Coach - trained by Martha Beck and I have a passion for watching you unfold like a wildflower in May - so fully embodying your Self that all the people around you will want “what she’s having”. I want to see you thrive and fall so undeniably deeply in love with your life that your electricity ripples through everything you do. I want to see you inspire and be inspired.
I grew up not knowing what I wanted to do with my life outside of exploring beyond fences and petting all the creatures. A self-identified “multipotentialite”, I took the traditional route and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and then a Master’s degree in Communication Studies and Advocacy.
Just before finishing my Bachelor’s degree my new husband (married just 6 months) and I were involved in a road rage incident that left him paralyzed from the chest down. I started deeply questioning the life I was living. I began working with therapists, coaches, body workers, Reiki practitioners, chiropractors, naturopaths, osteopaths, etc… to examine my earliest influences and really doing the work to know myself up to that point.
This led to me developing an interest in personal growth and development and ignited the curiosity that guided me to devote the last 12 years of my life investing in and creating myself. Let me tell you - it’s been the most magical (arduous, challenging, terrifying, emotional and wonderful) time and as I unraveled patterns and habits, it became clear that I had to use what I had been through to help other people navigate the same. There is no path already laid out for you. You have to clear some brush and make your own. The good news is, I’m here to support.
