Are you ready to see your change as an adventure?
Life is full of big, inevitable, beautiful changes. From leaving college and starting a new job, to divorce, to losing loved ones. There are also intentional changes like getting married, having kids and leaving your shitty unfulfilling job to find something more meaningful. That is to say, change comes in all different forms and it is almost always scary and comes with challenges.
Not one human will get out of this life without multiple life and identity shifting changes so we might as well accept that they’re coming, and seek support as needed to navigate them gracefully.
As scary as big changes are, I’ve come to see them as Adventures. Adventure is defined as “an undertaking usually involving danger and unknown risks...an exciting or remarkable experience” and I couldn’t think of a better way to describe this big, beautiful (and sometimes confusing) life and all the changes that come along with it.
When we feel lost in life, we can feel disconnected and isolated from others. We can also feel disconnected from ourselves, which can feel even more disconcerting. This feeling of disconnection causes tension in our relationships, sadness, confusion and a feeling of being “stuck.”
We KNOW something isn’t right but we can’t put our finger on the “what” and subsequently the “how” of getting back on track. In short, this can lead to feeling like we don’t belong or like we don’t have agency over our lives.
Friends and family have been helpful but you feel like you’re in an echo chamber and never getting any new material - you know they mean well but ultimately, they have an investment in the outcomes they are trying to help you achieve. You need a fresh perspective! And you need someone to ground with you and help you calm the maelstrom inside your head.
I would like to invite you on a 6 week adventure where you and I will explore what it’s like to be who you are right now and hone in on who you are growing into. The You of integrity, authenticity, curiosity, and joy. The You of your dreams - full of play and wonder and intention.

FAQs
What is a Life Coach?
A Life Coach is someone who has been trained to listen. It may seem weird to think about, but as I’m sure you know - not everyone is blessed with the skill of deep listening. A Life Coach is a cheerleader, impartial observer, and guide all at once. What are they guiding you toward? YOU.
What about confidentiality?
I am HIPAA Certified and carry an unyielding integrity in and through my practice. Having worked in healthcare, health insurance and financial aid, I am well versed in keeping your information safe.
How long does it take to see changes?
It has been my experience that changes can happen very quickly! However, there are a lot of factors that play into it, like how open and present you are or if you are doing the homework and frequently practicing the tools. It really is a matter of “you get out of it what you put in.”
Why hire a Life Coach?
We all struggle to see ourselves sometimes. We all do things where we stop and go “Whoa, wait. That’s not who I am! Why did I do that?” A life coach can help you see yourself more clearly and help you unravel the tangled mess of thoughts and limiting beliefs that keep you stuck and confused.
How is coaching different than therapy?
A therapist is to a coach like a physical therapist is to a trainer. Therapy is a very, very useful tool for working through old traumas and mental health challenges and can even work concurrently with coaching. Therapy deals with the past, while coaching helps you build your future. I like to think of therapy as helping people get back to a fully functioning state (taking care of basic needs, family, self, exercise, etc…) and coaching as optimizing all areas of life.
What is a session like?
Generally, sessions last 60 minutes and are just you and me. There will be some structure but generally I will ask that you bring something to work on for each session. This could be “homework” or just a topic of your choice.
Where and how often do we meet?
I do all of my sessions remotely by telephone though it’s very important that you are in a space where you can feel relaxed, grounded and able to focus.
How often do we meet?
I recommend meeting once per week for at least the first 6 weeks. Like anything else, learning to dismantle unhelpful beliefs and thought patterns takes time and practice. Weekly sessions keep the tools and information fresh in your mind to help you make big changes as quickly as possible
